Well, this is a first for me.

I mean, yes, I’ve started journals before… but they usually don’t last more than a couple of weeks. I don’t know why. There has always been a bunch of stuff I’d like to record and save for posterity—I often forget what happened in the last week, let alone last year.

This will be different. I can share this with the world, and hopefully someone, somewhere will learn from my stupidity; laugh at my misfortunes or celebrate with my successes.

We’ll have to see. Only time will tell, but with encouragement from my friends, hopefully I will be able to keep with this long enough to help others find their way along life’s path, whether by humour, datum or action.

I am addicted to information. It seems I can’t get enough. Whether we’re talking about up-to-the minute weather forecasts; news happenings on the other side of the world; or tried-and-true knowledge, I’m addicted.
