So there’s been this site operating as Opinion250 in Prince George for a while now… they started off with unbiased news stories, coupled with some “views” from the editorial team.

Since then, it’s become pretty much strictly views—or at least biased news—of the Meisner Inc. team. When I made comment to this effect on an article where they mentioned a similar accusation, they decided that I was no longer fit to comment and have “revoked my privledges.”

It seems that despite billing itself as “The Voice of the North,” the site is actually “The Voice of Everybody-That-Agrees-With-Meisner-And-Macdonald” and there is no room for suggestion otherwise.

Quite disappointing—they started off with such promise, covering news that other local media couldn’t be bothered with… now it’s just a forum for ornery old men to sit around and agree with Meisner Inc.

I guess that’s the way this little town works… yet another reason to get the “hell out of Dodge¹.”

¹ incidentally, this quote seems rather appropriate—Dodge referring to a “frontier town” of the wild west, PG being one of the places that has a majority of people opposed to the gun registry… you draw the parallels.
