In a Pit With a Lion on a Snowy Day

So, I’ve been following the blogging efforts of Mark Batterson as he prepared his book In A Pit With A Lion On A Snowy Day and I’ve been very encouraged by his style and process.

You see, Mark is the lead pastor at TheatreChurch.com in Washington, DC—a church that thrives on pushing the status quo out of the way.

He recently sent me a “preview” of the book, and it looks exciting! Based on Benaiah’s story in 2 Samuel 23:20-21, he shows us how God is currently raising up Christians as “lion chasers”... that is, people that grab a God-ordained challenge by the horns and carry it through.

But he doesn’t stop there—he also shows us how God will bless those that take that step of faith and trust him to provide.

How about you? Will you lock eyes with The Lion… and chase him?
